Darcy Brandenburg grew up in Edgeley, ND and graduated from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. He most recently received his Master’s Degree form the University of Mary.  Darcy taught at Central Cass for six years. He is currently that band director at Davies High School for Fargo Public Schools. 

Darcy enjoys working with his concert bands, jazz bands, and giving lessons. Darcy’s students have participated in festivals throughout the state including Northwest Music Festival, UND Honor Band, Northern Jazz Festival, Mary Jazz Festival, NDSU Invitation Jazz Festival, Ployhar Honor Band, and ND All-State. The Davies band has been most recently honored as the 2020 Governor’s Band.
